Did You Notice?
Did you notice Her in the sweet caress against your cheek
In the Earth beneath your feet
Did you notice the moss and the wild primrose
As she smiled at you from the kerb;
Peek!
As you push and shove and reel
The chase, the fix of closing another deal
For What?
Did you notice Her birdsong call
The new dawn
The swell of fire in Her belly
The gentle beat of Her crimson heart:
Fall
As you command, not asking Her choice.
Listen In
Her Sovereignty is Alive
Her voice is here!
Hear: Listen, Listen, Listen ….
Returning to the Sun – Solstice
The longest night, the dampest day, the darkest sky
The fierce wind blows.
It’s all beautiful this morning, as I return to myself.
For the past is gone, carried on the gentle breath of time.
For all this I am grateful.
Thankful for the pain, the grief and the sorrow, that brought me to my knees.
For the teaching and the healing of deep wounds.
It’s all beautiful this morning, as I return to myself.
For the past is gone, burnt up in the fire of my soul.
For I am thankful.
Grateful for the peace in my heart
For the bliss of love itself.
It is all beautiful this morning, as I return to myself.
For this is now, the sway of the lapping water, that holds my unbinding.
For I am grateful.
Thankful for the steadiness of this damp day,
the earth that receives the rain and supports my feet beneath it.
It is all beautiful this morning, as I return to myself.
For here are the seeds of newness of what is yet to be,
Glistening in the light of my Heart.
Om Shanthi, Shanthi, Shanthi
Perfect Place
It has not been the week I expected.
I have found myself in a place that is not where I thought I would be.
And yet it is exactly where I am being asked to be.
Letting Go
Moon, you draw us in and breathe us out.
Your ebb and flow whispers as we sail the tides of life.
Carry what no longer serves us into your ocean heart.
So we may shine bright as you dear Moon.
Infinite Possibility
I woke to the light of the Earth
Open to the emptiness of the day.
Freedom waving, the seeds of liberation within
Silence in my head, open to the emptiness of the day.
That – that only sees the grace, that brings forth love.
Open to the emptiness of creation itself.
Peace, peace, Shanthi Om
Winter’s Kiss
Snow caps and the gentle silence of white flakes
Blessing your skin.
Frosty spirals weaved in webs – patterns unfolding,
Unbinding the gates around your Heart.
For mind too shall melt downwards to meet you.
The whispering mist rolling through valley and down –
Calling with her tender embrace – let me hold you.
Stinging chill brings nature’s blusher to your cheeks –
Feel my sweetness breath with you.
Bright bursts of light drench you through the dark skies above
A glimmer – a song for hope sounding across the lands.
The stillness of the damp, earthen leaves
Renewing for the rebirth of Spring’s note:
Inviting the smell of your becoming.
For this is Winter’s Kiss of aliveness.
All that is without, awakening senses within.
Steadfast Heart, constant beat, joyful peace.
Winter’s Truth –
My love she calls
I am still here,
I am always here
Nature’s voice carries you home.
